Lockhart academy is the only studio my son will attend!! Master Lockhart is fun and great with kids. It is a good family environment. There is proper balance between discipline and having a good time.
I give them a 5 star rating, but my computer won't let me highlight the last star!!!

Probably the best evidence I could give of the quality of Lockhart's karate studio would be that we've driven from RSM 4 times a week for over 10 years, passing probably 10 other karate studios on the way, to attend classes there. They are that good. Master Lockhart and his staff consistently model the highest standard of integrity, courage, perseverance and kindness, and expect the same from their students. I could not begin to quantify the difference Master Lockhart has made in my children's lives, as a teacher and as a friend. Oh, and BONUS, they are great at teaching karate too :-) ... many of the LKA kids who compete place in the top three at local, regional and national tournaments...Master Lockhart and his staff have certainly been a winning team for our family.

I have taken my son to Lockhart Karate for the past two years! This was the best investment we have ever made in our lives! My son's self esteem and self confidence has been boosted up since then. We love Master Lockhart and his team! They are extremely professional and at the same time they make us feel like we are all a family.

I can't say enough great things about Master Lockhart. He is very committed to teaching not only karate, but values, discipline and respect. He knows each child individually, builds on their strengths and gives them tools to improve their weaknesses. I wish every teacher/instructor had his talent to demand discipline is such a positive and caring way. My kids LOVE going to karate!

My sons have been training at Lockhart's karate for 6 and 8 years. They both started when they were 3 years old. They train 2-3 times a week and look forward to every class. Master Lockhart has taught my boys incredible karate skills, but the respect, discipline and character that he models for them as he interacts with them has been what keeps us at his studio. My boys adore and respect Master Lockhart. Master Lockhart has been a most valued and respected male role model for my boys whom are growing up internalizing the high values and character that he demonstrates in the studio and in every interaction we have ever had with him. This studio has been a hugely positive influence in our sons' "formative years" we feel so blessed to have found this studio and Master Lockhart when our boys were so young.
