I was pleasantly surprised to visit here. It's a great place to get a good walk in while strolling the kids, letting them get out and wander to see animals, smell flowers, etc. It was a neat educational experience for my older child to see what rural life was like at the turn of the last century. A great place to fill the day when you have nothing in particular planned. And, the little shop near the entrance has suprisingly cute toys for sale!

Old farm houses, blacksmith shop, barns and school house. You can walk through most of the buildings and there are usually people in period dress acting out how life was back in the 1890s. Lots of farm animals: sheep, cows, pigs, horse, donkey, chickens and peacocks. My kids love it. And it's free. The museum does take donations. I usually leave a few dollars in the donation box.

The kids like the animals. You can go at your own pace through the various displays of farmhouses from different time periods. Best of all, it's FREE!
