I like Lincoln Park Zoo better than Brookfield because first of all, admission is free and second of all, there is a lot more to do around Lincoln Park Zoo in terms of restaurants and public transportation. My kids do love the zoo, and we always come a few times in the summer, usually with friends and make it a big outing. Don't miss the dippin dots while you're here!

1. I RECOMMEND THIS EVENT FOR BIG KIDS (+3 YEARS) BECAUSE THE MOST ATTRACTIONS ARE IN THE COLD OUTSIDE...
2. IS FREE!

ewww what a horrible horrible place. I think the city's money would be better spent demolishing this zoo and turning it into another park or something naturey. The animals all looked depressed and/or crazy (walking in circles, moaning etc.). The habitats were way too small and dirtier then most I've seen, yuck! The washrooms were disgusting, pee on the floor and no soap in the sinks. This zoo is like a morgue with pretty flowers and grass.

I love it because it is FREE, so I can go as often as we like, and also because it is conveniently located in the city, right by the lake. My daughter loves going to the zoo, and we can even go when it is cold for events such as Zoo Lights.

This is a great place to go in the spring and summer time. No admission fees for normal viewing, also has a light show during christmas. They also have a parking lot for a fee, and another lot accross street also fee.
