The directors of The Lactation Institute are incredible women. They began the field of lactation many decades ago, and have been providing premium services to mothers and professionals alike ever since.

Chele Marmet is nationally regarded as a breastfeeding expert and developed one of the first (maybe THE first?) certification program for lactation consultants. That said, everyone who works there is warm, helpful, and supportive, and they'll do what it takes to get you successful.

The Lactation Institute has the best support for breastfeeding and pumping (including such things as inducing lactation for adoptive breastfeeding), and the products it carries for sale are terrific -- some you can't get anywhere else that I've found.
