great support for nursing moms! I learned so much from these ladies. Sometimes I got better advice from them then my doctors!

LLL has been a wonderful influence in our lives. I have attended meetings for over 7 years... beginning with my 2nd pregnancy and continuing with toddler meetings now for our youngest.
I have always been able to get help and advice when I needed it and have made some great friends.

I loved La Leche. Not only did I make friends, learned how to deal with a problem I had nursing and got tips on how to deal with a colicy baby, but I also got leads on baby sitters and child care. I hired the 16 year old daughter of one group leader to baby sit at night and hired another mother to care for my son during the day while I worked. Her son was a month younger than mine and it was a terrific setup.

LOVE the group I was in, although the personalities of the different Leaders and participants will vary. We still get together once a month, and have been for 8 years now! It was a wonderful way to find support in breastfeeding, and a great way to meet like-minded moms as friends. There is also a lending library of excellent books and videos on various topics of interest.
