The gardens are beautiful. Unfortunately, you have to drive through an unsavory part of town and there are signs posted in the parking lot that state it's a high break in area and the park is not responsible for any loss.
I've gone a couple times and left both times with a bad feeling.

beautiful, extraodinarily maintained japanese gardens, nice walk for little ones or babies in a carrier. Waterfalls, ponds and lots of flowers and foliage.

This is not a park with a playground, rather a beautiful and serene setting that will calm you and enchant your toddler. There are many walking paths with natural hiding places that always inspire the imagination of my children.
