Likes- proximaty but very small. Rock climbing wall looked huge in the site pictures but was very small. But kids had lots of fun on that though. Play gym is small but the kids have a good time. I liked this place but I found it not be what I expected. Its very small and there isn't much for the young toddler to do. Overall I rated this place with 2 stars because there is a lot of improvement they could do on their part to make this place great. Maybe expanding or reorganizing the place or creating some new creative things for children.

nice and big

I found this playland online and it seemed to have the most decent pricing in the area for what they offered for a children's birthday party package. I went there to check the place out and wound up staying for 2 hours because my 2-year-old had so much fun she didn't want to leave. We ended up booking her party here, and she had a blast. Mia was very attentive to our needs and always made sure we had everything we needed. The owners are very nice and the playland is well maintained with clean toys in working order. I happen to enjoy the intimate size of Kix and Giggles...you can easily keep an eye on your children. The food was good, the cake was delicious. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a toddler's birthday party venue or just a place to take the kids and hang out for a couple hours.

I noticed that you were expecting me to respond so I feel obligated. I am one of the few owners that actually monitor their reviews because our business is so small and it is very valuable to us. I noticed that you placed us being small as a (con) that is our #1 PRO for so many mom's that they can manage the space so much easier with their children. Your con about children being supervised, this hard for me to respond to. Here is an example to compare, would you write a bad review about McDonalds because the parents of children weren't being supervised in there playunit? I have signs all over for Parents to supervise their children, I even help when I can. I just don't agree with a "con" of us because a parent is not watching their child how does that fall on me? We have a few rules that we work hard at keeping like no toys, food or shoes in the playunit, for the obvious reasons. Your "open gate " con I believe falls into the same catagory of watching your child, we have a sign to close the gate (half door) and we are always aware of it and near it. I am sorry but I am just not a fan of that type of review. So if you lost your child @ Macy's is it their fault the doors weren't secured or yours for not watching your child? I would you rather say we were dirty or to expensive or nothing to do for the kids because that is something I have control over and I feel I am responsable for. We work very hard to keep Kix clean and fun for the kids and families. We may not be the biggest on the block but we work the hardest. It is just me my wife and children that run the facility so the girl behind the counter is my daughter Mia, she is 12 and I spoke to her about responding quicker to customers requests, so I thank you for that. Janie again I appreciate your review although I do not agree with some of it. I would ask that you revise some of it as it will definatly effect our business in an already tough economy. I would like to respond to this posting. We do have other options for parties for parents to choose from and it is up to the parents if they would like to incorporate that into the party. We stopped offering characters because of the amount of children that were frightened and crying when the character arrived. I have not received any complaints from any parents since we have been open about our parties, the party package or the pricing. Since you were not the parent that booked the party it is hard to respond to you other then maybe they saw value in it were you do not. Our Package is very affordable and we receive many many emails and reviews stating that and we have not raised our prices this year.
