I decided to get my daughter's hair cut at the last minute and I was glad they could work us in. They have TVs at each station and played whatever my child wanted. At one point I told them that if she was able to look at the boy next to us getting his hair cut then she wouldn't move around so much. They immediately changed her position to make it work. They ask for input along the way, make it fun for kids and do a really nice job with haircuts. The prices are a little steep, but considering the work that goes into cutting a kid's hair, I get it.

Overall, it's a great place for a kid to get their haircut, but I think it's a little pricey for my son's hair. My son is a little scared of clippers, so the fact that they cut the hair faster than I could untangle our home clippers' cord is pretty impressive. They are extremely fast and make kids feel comfortable, so for a first cut I think it was great.

Fun for kids if you're willing to pay $17 for a child's haircut. I'd recommend it for a child's very first cut - they give a cute keepsake package. Other than that, it's back to Fantastic Sams!
