It is a nice place to go and walk around by the river, especially with your pets. Tends to stink a lot due to the river water but other that it's ok.

Johnny Appleseed is a great festival..but truly not for young children..it's crowded, nosy and lots of people running into each other. HOWEVER, the upper area near the farmer's markets is always a lot less crazy...and there is great food nearby and a few craft areas..and of course the incredible market stalls..love the mums and fruit available every year!
