this is the closest to our house and we go alot, but i wish it were cleaner. also wish for a sandbox and a more gentle "water feature" overall, though, i'm grateful it's there.

JJ Byrne is perhaps not a dream park but it's 'close to where we live and fine for putting your little one on the swings or to do some climbing and sliding around. I think it's getting better with the additon of all these great little events happening there of late, many coordinated by the beautiful Old Stone House which is right on the property. Mini concerts, big singalongs, plays and seasonal events like their fall pumpkin picking event complete with farm animals and hayrides place it a notch above your regular neigborhood park. It does have a nice open neighborhoody yet urban feel to it. The sprinkers in the summer are great too!

Not as crowded as prospect park playgrounds. But it gets crowded and wild at lunch hour and after school hour, as there is a school directly across the street.

the equipment is good it is always dangerously dirty with broken glass and the most disgusting trash
