This Ikea store is pretty standard when it comes to Ikeas in the US, it's very similar to others I have been at. Great store overall...no complaints.

Since stepping in to my first Ikea nearly a decade ago, I've always found the Nordic chain to strangely inviting. I find that there is no such thing as a quick trip to Ikea, and the Twin Cities store is no exception. While the aisles are filled with garish furniture and decoration (seriously, if you injected some color and Northern European design ideas in to a JC Penney's basement, you wouldn't be too far off), there's something invigorating about being led through the underground mazes of impulse buys; I particularly like the the little shortcuts from department to department. Go there, buy a 90 cent cup of coffee, and just mill about for awhile.

Their furniture are nice and cheap...yet, the quality isn't that extremely great.

I've been there a few times. The furniture is good and seems to hold up well. I have also purchased some good children's furniture and stuffed animals and stuff. Does take a little time to put together and the directions are not the best. Feels like putting legos together really.
