QuoteWe love to go to the Children's Garden! My sons love the water play areas the most! I always bring extra dry clothes and shoes for them. We also enjoy visiting the new Chinese Garden, the Japanese Garden, the Tea Room & Cafe, and the Conservatory, too.

QuoteThis place has something to offer everyone- from the art gallery, gardens, tea house, children's garden and great gift shop. When it's super hot out it's a bit rough to walk around so spend time in the library on those brutally warm days. The Free Day is on the first Thursday of the month which is a great offering to save some money- you can get tickets on their website or by phone.

QuoteMy daughter's Girl Scout brownie troop just had their investiture event here at the Japanese garden. They got their green Girl Scout vests. They don't let you walk over the bridge anymore....used to do that when I was a kid. I hadn't been to the Huntington in ages. They have rennovated the main house where Blue Boy and Pinkie are kept. We also enjoyed looking at the Gutenburg bible. I really liked the new Children's exploratory gardens and the Chinese/Mandarin area with the huge lake is beautiful. It was a hot day...we had ice tea and watched the ducks. If you go on the weekend, it's $20 to get in for adults....and crowded. Since we had to be at the Maverick's baseball game later that day, (back in Victorville), we didn't have time to enjoy the grounds or gardens like I would have wanted to. It is a nice, serene environment and the grounds are immaculate as I remembered them.

QuoteLove to stroll here with baby so much that we bought a yearly membership. Gorgeous gardens and super cool children's garden! Only downside is no food or drinks are allowed in the gardens...

Quotegood place to bring the kids since they have indoor - when it's raining or too hot- and outdoor for most of the other time when it's nice weather
