The beauty of the Cockrell Butterfly Center is incredible to behold. It's a great place to see butterflies in a semi-natural habitat. I could have stayed in there for hours. The only drawback is that it's rather humid, but that's for the butterflies' sakes.

This is a lovely place to spend an afternoon. Great for kids and parents alike.

My kids love this place. The butterflies are everywhere and so beautiful. All the bug facts and games for the kids to place were pretty interesting too. It's fun for the whole family no matter the age. You can watch cocoons hatching.

It's just hard to explain how spectacular it is to go through the butterfly center. My daughters and I are totally suffering from bug-phobia of any kind, but we were at ease and in awe at the sight of the butterfly center. It's definitely a trip your kids will not forget!
The butterflies will just land on you, however, so if your child is a little squeamish of that, you may want to warn them early on. Each time we went it was really crowded, and we couldn't just really stop.

My daughters loved this exhibit, along with the rest of the museum. They love being that close to butterflies!
