My boys see Dr. Gunay in this multi-Pediatrician practice. We have also seen Dr. Carlson in Dr. Gunay's absence. I like both of these women. They have very different styles. Dr. Gunay is very laid-back and doesn't get too excited about things (great for an anxious parent). She always takes time to answer all of my questions.
Dr. Carlson is very high energy, upbeat. At first it seems as though she is in a rush to get to her next patient. But I have found that if I have questions, she is more than happy to talk to me about concerns and give me detailed information.
We have seen Dr. Behrstock(sp?) on a few occasions. He is very abrupt and does not seem to have much of a bedside manner. I have had other friend share with me similar experiences. I have been told by other pediatricians in the practice that although he may not be the most personable individual, he is an excellent clinician. He was the head of Pediatric Medicine at Hoag Hospital before he joined this practice.
There is another male doctor in this practice but I can't recall his name. My sons have not seen him, but I have other friends who have brought their children to see him and were happy with his care.
FYI - for faster service book an early AM appt, before they have a chance to get backed up with unscheduled visits from sick children.

We always waited for over an hour for our appts and when we finally got to see the Dr. we felt like we were rushed out of their. I felt liek she was very knowledgable but too busy with staff boards and such to really care about her patients.
