great park with lots of different areas for kids to play in. One drawback is the sand is not that clean but other than that great park!

We love this park. It seems clean and my son loves the playground. Beware of the crazy geese as they bite if you try to feed them bread. We did it once and it was too much for the little ones as the ducks came swarming for food. Overall great park!

This is one of few larger parks that accomodates all ranges of ages. For those that wish to swim, play tennis, play basketball, or simply enjoy the flower garden or walk around the lake -- also great playgrounds for the kids and family barbques!!!

While HFP is closer to our house, we prefer to go to Civic park in downtown WC. CP has cleaner, softer sand, more playset items for our 18 month old. And, the crowd at HFP can get a bit questionable at times. Lots of teenagers who can become rowdy. That's the drawback of it being such a large park.

The smaller children's paly area is sand.
