Our older kids started with Dr. Kruger, who is really wonderful, funny and easygoing. He's also thorough, and walked us over to an overbooked specialist to get information he didn't have.
As the girls got older, they wanted to go to a female doctor, and we switched to Dr. Ching, who is also kind and patient and very thorough, and gave us a lot of good advice.

Dr. Ching is fantastic - we always found her to be both supportive, flexible and most importantly practical! Where some of my friends have had pediatricians that were very rigid she always has a practical and helpful approach. I also like the phone in systems where you can talk to nurses at any time of day for questions.

If you want someone with a holistic approach who is sensitive to your experience as a pregnant woman do not go here. These people have an interventionist approach and favor surgery over your body's natural capabilities; eg pushing you to have a D&C when you've miscarried when you really don't need to have one. Plus the receptionists are unfriendly and never smile.

This medical group practice offers childbirth, newborn care, and breastfeeding classes. Quality varies depending on who your instructor is, but I was pleased with the classes I took. They are affordable, and this is just one of many sites throughout Mass.

We go to HV Watertown, and I have no complaints. The reception, clinic assistants, NP and docs are all fabulous, caring, and punctual. They are great about calling back, and answering all questions (even if they seem trivial) that a new parent has.
