I live in the neighborhood and always find the perfect birthday gift at Half Pint. The staff knows the perfect thing for any age group so you don't have to go in with anything specific in mind and can walk out in 5 minutes with a gift. They also have cool wrapping.

Dumbo was a desert when it came to baby stores for such a long time -- but thankfully Half Pint came in and saved us! This adorable store has amazing kids clothes -- only the cutest stuff and some from small Brooklyn based designers. They also have the perfect Petit Bateau basics. They've got strollers and gear too, but I've never bought them here. The toy selection seems mostly geared towards babies and toddlers. They've also got shoes, bottles, and even furniture.
