Half Day Cafe is a great place to get a good meal in a "garden barn" setting that is not only tolerant of children but enjoyable for them. We prefer to sit outside when the weather suits so the kids can explore a little. The servers are usually quick to get that scone on the table, too, to mitigate kids' starvation factor. Definitely worth a try if you're not a regular already.
