"the word-of-mouth survival guide for SAN FRANCISCO parents"
Review added 3/8/2005

I might just be one of the few parents around who detests the whole idea behind Gymboree. I think that my issue is that the teacher (can't they speak in a normal voice?) told my then 14 month old that his playing was "good work." Play isn't work. Work can be play, but that's a different conversation. And as one who pays attention to the marketing messages my son's receiving, I don't care for the constant repetition of the Gymboree brand throughout the musical program.

Too bad this location just closed. My baby loved gymboree....loved parachute play that the other "gym" classes don't offer.

I did not enjoy my experience at this Gymboree. I found their make up policy to be inflexible and when you have a young child (6 mos. at the time) you have to be flexible. I will not attend classes here again.
