"the word-of-mouth survival guide for SAN FRANCISCO parents"
Review added 2/13/2008

Other reviews have basically covered the gist of it but I'd like to add the 2 things that stood out to me. One, it was very clean and bright. When I was shopping around for programs, I checked out My Gym and it REEKED and was dark and just unpleasant. Secondly, the billing and class terms are very flexible. If you miss class, makeups are easy, you get credit the longer you are a member. So far, after about a month of being enrolled, I'm pretty happy. OH! Pinecrest location is definitely more energized and bright than the Kendall location.

Gymboree has enabled me to meet other Moms and my son other children his age. The teachers for the most part are wonderful. Some are definately better than others so don't be afraid to try different classes/teachers until you find one you like. We both truly look forward to our visits weekly.

Staff is incredibly accomodating and willing to co-create exciting programs with parents.

My daughter is a Gymboree devotee. She just loves the equipment and the teachers too.

Great for younger babies but the play area is a little crowded for toddler classes. It's best on open gym days when there are less children.
