So, this is NOT the store to saunter into and purchase clothes off the rack at full price. Because, if you are a veteran shopper, you KNOW 2 weeks later the items will be marked down by 20%, plus there's always a coupon floating around in some magazine or in your mailbox to add to the markdowns. There are certain times of the year that the clearance racks are overstuffed. I tend to focus on the clothing lines that are newly marked down to 40% off, then use my coupon immediately because the selection of clothing runs out at this % markdown if the line is popular. If you shop soon after they mark something down by 40%, then you can get loads of mix/match outfits for prices comparable to Target or the Children's Place (sales). It's worth hunting for coupons to use with the markdowns. They bring in new lines so often that - for the most part - if you find something you like, you don't have to wait until it's on sale. What I love is that if you find something they don't stock or have in the size you need, they will happily call other stores for you. This level of service is a major part in why I'm a Gymboree junkie. It is frustrating that some area stores carry different pieces of a given line than others, but it's determined by the tier (size) of store. I've noticed that Cherry Creek tends to carry more stock of most lines and pieces that other area locations do not. However, places like the Aspen Grove or Park Meadows seem to retain the (necessary!) items like accessories to go with the clothes for longer, for whatever reason. It's not the high initial prices that get me in trouble at Gymboree. I've found out how to outfit my daugthers completely in new Gymboree clothes for the same cost as if I were to go to Target, etc. It's the accessories for the girls' clothes that break my bank!

I'm very sad to see this location close. It is always a nice shopping experience.

They have great dress-up clothes and great clearance sales. Not a huge selection.
