The outdoor play space is great but the classrooms indoors are dirty, unsafe for children (uncovered outlets, flaking paint, etc.), and generally unpleasant. The playground has different sets for three different age groups, plus swings and a sandbox. Very popular with both parents and nannies, so you get a good mix.

A really nice place for both kids and parents.

Only gripe is no stroller access on Wisconsin Ave--have to enter on Calvert St.

Wonderful park. Never too crowded (although it now may be!) Perfect for toddlers. Has a basketball court and other things for older children as well.

While the Friends of Guy Mason have done a lot over the year to boost the facility, it stills lack a special touch. The playground is nestled in a gully with no access for strollers and wheelchairs from the main street. Perhaps this will change with the rec center undergoes a renovation....
