There are things I both like and dislike about Gumballs, however I have to say the like outweighs the dislike. Yes, it is cluttered. Yes, it's hard to trek through the "aisles" to find what you need. Yes, some brands of clothes (i.e. "vintage" and old Gymboree lines) are way overpriced for the condition. I have to say that some brands I know to be high end were surprisingly low-priced, as well as toys and gear in great condition. HOWEVER, this is THE place to find toys, electronics, books, etc. The owner always catches customers to say what's on sale. Something's on sale EVERY day. It can be confusing to remember what's on sale depending on how much she wants to clear out and marks down. However, this is a great spot to find used dance shoes, outerwear, dolls and small toys in great condition. You just never know what treasure you'll find if you are free to roam and come pre-caffeinated. I do sometimes bring my kids since there is a play area, but it is hard to keep track of them, and I wouldn't dare bring a stroller in - it wouldn't fit. I've found some great clothing suprises and shoe bargains, as well as stuff in the back (gear) I never thought I needed. I've even purchased maternity clothes when I had time to try things on and wade through the overstuffed selection. Yes, the bag of clothes deal at the end of each season is a steal, but I just never needed enough kids' clothes to take advantage of this. I like to drive by the shopt to see the assortment of outdoor toys displayed on the sidewalk. Bottom line: it's a great place for the treasure hunter/whoarder, but it might befuddle neat freaks. She must be doing something right to have been in business for well over a decade, when all other 2nd hand kids' stores have such a high turn-over rate.

The store was very poorly organized. I felt like I was digging through items at a garage sale. I have been in consignment stores that seem to be more selective in the merchandise, also.

Has great deals, but you really have to be in the mood to look through ALL of the stuff. Can be overwhelming. Has play area for kids.

Great prices and selection but a lot of the stuff is very dirty, torn and just worn out. Good place to buy plastic toys and tricycles.

This place is nothing more glamorous than friend's garage sale, but talk about deals! Their prices are low already but if you hit a 50-75% off sale, you can stumble out of there with bags of clothes and toys for less than 20 bucks. This place is my favorite pick-me-up because no matter my budget crunch I can always find something in good condition for cheap.
