This is a neat place for what it is. It doesn't compare to the zoo, but it has a nice atmosphere. The tram ride is nice, and of course the free budweiser samples! They had quite a bit of not-too-spooky decorations when I visited around Halloween. Park down the street and it's completely free.

awesome little zoo in south county. I love the tram ride because you get to see so much of the park without walking. Great things to see and free beer tasting!

Grant's farm is an awesome place to visit and asside from paying to park it is a free attraction. Many neat animals and great family atmosphere!

Gorgeous especially around Christmas. Our family had the best experience their a few years ago during Christmas and we got a gorgeous picture of our family with Santa. Unfortunately, the following year they had cancelled the Christmas activities. We live in Illinois and know of several families who travelled to Grant's Farm for Christmas and were very disappointed that Christmas at Grant's Farm was cancelled. Parking is expensive, but admission is free.

Except for paying to park, it was a great atmosphere and satisfied our need to do something with educational value!
