Summer and winter are equally fun here. The train rides through the farm all year and yes it's free...minimal cost to feed the pygmy goats, but my kiddos love it. Riding the little "train" is like being on a mini-safari right here in our own backyard. Love the history, and don't forget those amazing Clydesdales. Really a great day outing for the whole family.

We recently went to Grants Farm with two young kids, my mother, my brother and my husband. We were able to push the stroller, load it and ride the train! The train ride was so exciting for all of us with the views of so many animals. Feeding the goats was fun for the adults--as the kids got a little scared. Roaming around and finding the free beer was great for the adults too. The kids liked the "show" that had a bunch of animals featured.

Grant's farm is perfect for a nice morning adventure. There's just enough to see and do without getting the kids overly tired or enterting meltdown phase. There's great (but a little pricey) food there too. You can always pack snacks and enjoy the beer garden too.

We love this place!! Such a great way to spend an afternooon. Kids love the train ride, and adults love the free beer. Worth going on a regular basis!
