My wife and I purchased an entire nursery form Georgia Baby about a year ago. A few weeks ago the local news station Channel 2 Atlanta) ran several stories about the furniture we purchased (Baby's Dream) from Georgia Baby. The report demonstrated very high levels of formaldehyde in the pieces of furniture tested by an independent laboratory. We were shocked by these reports and contacted Georgia Baby and Kids. We were told that the story was fictitious and we had nothing to worry about. We asked if Georgia Baby and Kids would help us and they said they would do nothing for us. We asked for a return call from the salesperson and the owner. No one returned our calls. We worked with the manufacturer for several weeks to solve the problem but they will not help and they now say that the products they produce as of 2009 comply with new standards but you are out of luck if you purchased in 2008. Georgia Baby and Kids does not stand behind the products they sell and left us to fend for ourselves.

Great selection and a super place just to look around and get ideas. They do not haggle though- the price is the price and we like to negotiate. Cute bedding selections.

If you are pregnant and looking for furniture in Atlanta.......YOU CAN'T MISS OUT ON THIS UNBELIEVEABLE STORE! We had shopped at Georgia Baby in the past years ago for our sons nursery and in Augustfound out we were pregnant again after many trys. I had seen their billboards saying they were moving the store to a new location. Im sure glad I attended the Grand Opening. OH MY GOD! What a place! The whole store was filled with fresh flowers, making it smell like an oversized florist shop! My son who is now 3, was going crazy in the their Jungle room looking at the huge Dinosaurs and my husband who is a pilot was going crazy over the 14 ft long flying Airplanes in Boystown! I never liked to get them out of there! This store is the only place in Atlanta..anyone with kids or who is expecting should ever shop. Their selection is unbelieveable! On the baby side they even have a round crib with the most gorgeous bedding...Hanging....YES HANGING from the Ceiling...you can walk under it! What a Trip! It's like something you would only see in Las Vegas or New York! We got some great deals over the weekend....new Bugaboo stroller, and got a great deal on new Munire Furniture, which i had found elsewhere for alot more $$$! Also I won a free Moses Basket for registering at the grand opening on saturday! I can't begin to say enough nice things!

We purchased our nursery furniture from GA Baby and really enjoyed our experience with them. The sales staff was super nice and not pushy at all. The show room is gorgeous, and much more elegant and elaborate than Baby's Room in Norcross. It's also a great place to go to get ideas for your nursery. A lot of the bedding is a little over the top for our tastes - by that I mean, too fancy (and many of the bumpers that come with the crib bedding sets are huge and fluffy - not safe!) but nice selection.

I was so tired of hearing...it's not in stock, or it takes 3 months to get. UNTIL..i steped into Georgia Baby & kids in Norcross. What a selection..and everthing i looked at was in stock to take with me today! And since they were having a pre-moving sale i got an extra BIG discount!. I love my solid Mahogany wood baby furniture by Munire. Beautiful..and will last years to come! They also have the best selection of bedding and Gear i have seen in Atlanta! we completed our entire nursery shoping all in one stop...for less $$$ than we had planned to spend! I would highly recommend going there first!
