QuoteA wonderful neighborhood meeting place with good comfort food and very good beer (brewed on premises). Service is hit and miss but on average not bad. Very kid- and baby-friendly. Noisy.

QuoteFranklin's is great! Family-friendly, a range of prices and selections for food, and a toy shop connected to the restaurant all make for a fun time. Servers have always been super-friendly when we've visited--a rarity in the DC area.
