This is a gem of St. Louis. Just west of downtown, you can spend an entire day over here and not pay anything. The art museum, zoo, and science center are all free! Take in a show during the summer at the Muny or just listen to local artists perform throughout the park. Something for every age, and several trails for the exercise buffs!

Truly a great place for kids of all ages. Have been going there ever since I learned of it.

It's a great place with plently of open fields to play on...with many great attractions. Maybe not the safest place at night though.

I am new to the St. Louis area. I took the family to Forest Park today and was amazed! What a gem!
