Felicia really made the difference for me and helped to make our birth experience a completely positive one. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced...she really seems to love her work. At first I thought her fee was a little high, but afterwards I felt we didn't pay her enough for all of her attention and hard work. She stayed with us through a very long labor working tirelessly and without complaint. She was not only there for us for the birth, but also available throughout the pregnancy and even helped me get an appointment with a chiropractor on a Sunday when I was having sciatic pain.
I also found her very easy to be around personally. She is warm and supportive and just puts everyone at ease. Professionally, Felicia supports a "positive birth experience", which means she is not opposed to drugs or other interventions if necessary. She really helped us to understand what was going on at each step, so we were prepared each time the medical staff entered the room. They really liked working with her too.
I can't recommend her highly enough. She's terrific!
