We attended the one day class. I didn't think we would gain any new information that we hadn't already read/heard about. However, we were happy to find that the whole experience was very worthwhile and we gained a lot. I definitely recommed the one day session vs. a weekend or several weeks.

I attended several of the breastfeeding support group meetings when I first had my daughter. The LCs/nurses who run the group are really nice and helpful. I was able to go, get my baby weighed and get some one-on-one help for free. I also took my childbirth class there and though it could have been greatly condensed, it was a good class to prepare me for all that was ahead.
