QuoteI absolutely enjoy this carrier! I got this when my child was around 6 months and he loved it too. Its great that you can use it three ways. I mostly use it for carrying him on my back, but when I want to put him to sleep I carry him in the front. I have not tried the hip mode yet. And its very comfy unlike other carriers.

Quotewhen my son was younger i used a ring sling and a mei tai to carry him. the ring sling has a steep learning curve, and is really suited for infant cradle carry or toddler hip carries. while i love the mei tai for front carries, it has lots of straps that need tying and is hard to put on your back if you have a monkey baby (as i do). the ergo is very easy, the padding on the shoulders makes it very comfortable. compared to other carriers of the same ilk, the price is good. hubby and i often go on 1-2 mile hikes and there is no pain in my back or shoulders with my 21 pound one year old. i can't give it five stars because i do wish it came up a little higher in the back. harlan is tall and he's a backbender, and sometimes it causes the straps to strain when he does it. but, otherwise, great carrier.

QuoteQuite possibly the best baby carrier out there! After all the slings, pouches, Baby Bjorns, and backpack carriers I've used to tote my son around, I finally decided that for the second baby I would buy an ERGO. I'm so glad I did! It's comfortable for my back and, once I got the hang of it, so easy to use. I wish I had known about this carrier for my first child!

QuoteIts so great to have your hands free and not be concerned about the safety of baby. And my son loved it too! We used to put him to sleep this way as he would only fall asleep while moving (yikes). All carriers take a bit to get used to getting on, but I prefer these kinds of carriers to slings.

QuoteThis is the most comfortable carrier for long periods of time for anything over a 6 month old. Great support and weight distribution. Durable and versital. A little on the expensive side but completely worth the money. I still occasionally use mine with my 27# 2 yr old. This was a sanity saver with my youngest who needed to be held almost constantly. Easy to use once you get the hang of it.
