"the word-of-mouth survival guide for ORANGE parents"

My son hit 20 pounds by the time he was 5 months old and the baby bjorn wasn't cutting it any more! The Ergo has a great lumbar support and it works well as both a back and front carrier. When my son gets really grumpy I put him in backpack style and do household chores and he falls right to sleep!

Although the Ergo is super comfortable when you have baby in front, it's not the miracle carrier I hoped for after reading so many excellent reviews. I bought it to use as a side carrier on my hip and that is not comfortable at all. The shoulder strap is too stiff and ends up against your neck and makes it very uncomfortable. The front carry is very comfortable so I've decided not to return it. There is a strap that goes across the back and when it is in the proper place, it is very comfortable. The downside is there is no way you can get it in the proper place by yourself, you need help from someone else. If no help is available the strap has to be toward the top of my back (so I can reach it), thus rubbing against my neck.

loved this, my son seemed to nestle right in to it.

I love my Ergo carrier! It is so easy to use and that it can be worn three different way makes the price worth it. I bought it before my daughter was born and with the infant insert it was easy to carry her without worrying about her falling out. She is now 6 months and still loves being carried around in it.

We've loved our Ergo baby carrier. We bought it when our son hit 22 pounds at 4 months of age and had to ditch our Baby Bjorn. The Ergo will work until he weighs 45lbs. I love the way it works with the way the child naturally sits and places their weight on their bottom where it belongs.
