Quotewe used the ergo alot though that infant wrap doohickey was really precarious and i always felt like my little one was going to slide right out with that thing. i guess thats why we also had the bjorn. i never got the hang of the back pack approach to the ergo, she fit too low and couldnt see and killed my back.

QuoteIf you only choose one baby carrier past 6 months, make it this one. Easy for mom to carry because the weight is well-distributed. Great choice for dads, too, since it has a backpack-style design -- no flowers! My husband has hiked with our daughter in it even when she was 4 years old/40 lbs. You can start to use it at 6 months or so but unlike a Snugli you can use it a lot longer if you need to. It's also a great choice for more busty moms since it doesn't cross the chest.

QuoteWe bought our ergo carrier for a DisneyWorld trip with our 18 month old this past spring. All I can say is I wish I'd gotten one sooner. Our daughter would actually ask to be put in it when she was tired, and she slept amazingly in it. Also, after carrying her around for hours on my feet, I felt no extra pain. My husband loves it as well. I teach a fitness class, and have even been able to carry my daughter in it while exercising, and she's almost 2! LOVE IT! (And we even have an older model we found on ebay, I bet the newer designs are even better)

QuoteThis carrier is very comfortable. The style is kind of bla. But if your just into comfort than the carrier is great and easy to put on for the front carry position. The back position is a bit tricky to do alone and I find that the hip carry position is uncomfortable. Just too much fabric around my waste. I bought the beco butterfly and like that much more.

QuoteMy baby loves to carried and she loved the New Native Sling, but at six months and 16 months, my back and shoulders weren't loving it! I tried this and have never looked back! The weight is distributed around my hips---I hardly feel it! There are also great little add-ons----a zip-pockets for keys and a wallet, and a little hood to cover baby's face! Once you start using it, you'll wonder how you ever did without!!!!!
