QuoteI love the ERGO carrier and so does my almost 11 mo old son. I use it quite often and he seems happy and comfortable in it. I love the hood and my son sleeps well in it. I've used it for a couple of hikes and felt it was comfortable. I got in when he was about 8 mo old and was using the moby before for hikes. ERGO feels safer (for hiking) but I still love the moby!

QuoteI guess there is no perfect carrier, but after trying a few others I settled ont he Ergo out of desperation. My baby hated the slings- the fabric was too close to his face and it freaked him out. I use the infant adapter dealie, and say it's the baby taco- because it looks like it. It feels secure to me but took some getting used to. It hurts me after a while- the straps sort of pull my shoulders forward, which is the last thing us mommies need. Oh well. I'm using this until I find something better. I think that this carrier will be impractical once our son gets older. I can't see how you would ever be able to use it as a back carrier without someone else helping you.

QuoteLOVE the Ergo. My daughter has no problem falling asleep in it and the built in hood means I don't have to worry about head flop as I move. Being able to use from infant to toddler was a big selling point. Kids can see the world but can get away from stimuli when they have had enough. My sister uses hers for front and back carry with her almost 2 year old.

QuoteWhen our son got too big to comfortably carry in a sling-type carrier, we transitioned to the Ergo Baby Carrier. He is now 20 months old and still loves to be carried in it! You can carry a baby on your front or an older baby or toddler on your back. A great way to cuddle.
