We live in walking distance of Encanto Park and always enjoy taking walks through the park and being able to just sit, relax and (not feed the birds lol). Though we like to watch the train and listen to it's whistle we don't usualy visit the Enchanted Island.

The best part about this park is Enchanted Island. It's a small amusement park with a train, carousel, and carnival rides for the kids open on weekends and holidays. It's even reasonably priced. The main park also has 2 playgrounds and paddleboats on the lake. One of the older parks in Phoenix and defintely one of our favorites.
