I started my baby here at 6 months. She is now 11 months and can swim 6 feet across the pool underwater (and has been able to for a while). I have had two different instructors (Jose and Amber) and both were really nice and caring towards the kids. I like the small group environment -- each kid gets individual attention. And I like how they tell you what to practice to help the child swim better. The songs are fun for the kids. I agree that the dressing rooms are too small and there is nowhere to put your infant while you change. But in the whole scheme of things it was only an issue for a few months. The pool is heated to a good temp and there are slides for the kids to go down -- even the babies!

It doesn't appear that a swim center could be in a strip of stores, but it is! I was hassled when I wanted to return a swimsuit, with the tag on, that I had bought hours earlier. I was grilled with 20 questions why I wanted to return it.

The service and administration is great, but the way the place was set up is horrible. The dressing rooms are too small and there is no safe place to set an infant while the parent gets dressed.

INside so you don't have to worry about weather or sunburns and the water is very comfortable for swimming and splashing around

Best investment - my child started lessons at Plano location at 6 mos and loves to swim. She is now 2 and can float on her back with ease and hold her breath under water for 10 seconds! We have a pool and feel confident about her swimming and safety that they've taught her
