I love the small size for my 3 year old. The playground is very nice. The only reason I gave it three stars is because it is pricey for a zoo that doesnt offer many animals. Hard to explain to my little boy about where the elephants and zebras are! But if you hate crowds, this is the place for you.

My son loves this zoo. Great playground and lots of space to get that energy out. Bring your own food. We have eaten at the cafe a couple of times and have never been impressed with the food or the service. You can do this zoo in an hour which is great for kids who still need that afternoon nap.

I took Joey there for the second time in a month last weekend and he loved it more than the first time. It's small but perfect for little guys his age (13 months). He just learned to walk, so I can put him down, let him walk in front of me and not worry that he's going to get trampled by crowds.

This is a nice small zoo. Great for smaller children. Includes a small play area, cafe and retail area. Also offers kids birthday parties

Our family membership gets a work out here, because we go A LOT! My 5 & 3 year old boys love that they can see the entire zoo in one trip, visit their favorite porcupine, and crawl through the prarie dog tunnel. They have great classes for all ages and wonderful holiday events. The paths are wide enough for strollers and shaded enough that you don't feel like you're baking in the summer heat.
