I wanted to consign some of my son's clothes. They were very nice brands such as Petite Bateau etc.. I made an appointment to drop off my clothes. The owner gave me a receipt with the clothes I left. I waited for six months and never got paid. I told her I wanted to pick up my clothes and donate them to a shelter and she said I could not do this. As far as I am concerned she stole my son's clothes and sold them and kept the money. She would not return my calls. I would would rather donate my clothes now to the needy than help someone who does business this way.

Eieio, located in the heart of Hampden, is cute, but selection is very limited (perhaps because of the very small space? This store is two rooms big), and prices are higher than at other stores like it. Brands they carry also aren't terribly impressive. I've found a Gymboree item here and there, but overall, the clothing isn't very attractive or in good condition. It's as if they don't have enough consigners to be picky about quality. The store has stairs leading to the front door, a puzzling set-up considering parents with strollers are their main clientele. This also means the handicapped will be unable to shop here.
On the upside, the store offers some cute new items such as stuffed dolls, finger puppets, games, and growth charts. Also, the customer service is very good; everyone working there is friendly.

Very cute store that offers consignment and some new items. The owner is very nice. She carries those Asian silk diaper bags.
