Love to go to the aquarium and ride the rides but the food and everything else its just too expensive. This isnt the type of place you take your family very often than a special occasion...

When my son was 2, we took him to the Downtown Aquarium. He had a blast! The tanks were low enough that he could walk up to them and see the fish. He also enjoyed the rides! At the time we did not know that they had a small water park,so we did not bring any extra clothes or a bathing suit. I wish we would have because he wanted to go splash in the water. There is also an outside concession stand or a very nice restaurant inside. I'd recommend the restaurant for parents. It is very romantic sitting among the fish. However, the wait staff was very kind and understanding of my toddler's needs. (I would've enjoyed eating there more if it were only me and my hubby.) Over all, it was a wonderful experience. When we pass by it on our way to "Brenny's" my son asks to return!
