 The cutomer service at this store is beyond horrible.I dealt with an ill mannered obnoxiously rude woman by the name of Irene, I think. I have never in my life encountered such rudness at a retail store. I should have read the reviews before comitting to this store and registering and recomending it to people .She will mistreat pregnant women , nice little old ladies.. any one!She talks down to people, throws snide remarks and has recomended I take my business else where when i asked a simple question! She even hung up on a friend of mine! It is a miracle this place is still in business.Everyone I have talked to has has a bad experience at this store and will not set foot in the store.it is unfortunate when people like her run businesses not to mention a baby business!Take your business else where if you are expecting. She made a beautiful thing a very bitter experience. she took the joy out of registering and revieving gifts. Her return and exchange policies make no sense and are inconvient, and her intollerence has upset people that have spent a lot of money at that store.
By the way , i think all the positive reviews are written by her and her friends. I have not come across one person who had anything positive to say about this store. All the products are available on line and at other stores, right here in rice Village even!..and for much less too!

RUDE. CONCEITED. NASTY. That describes the sales ladies and the owner at this establishment. I went to buy my baby some shoes and the sales lady only wanted to bring me one shoe at a time and kept asking if I was going to buy anything before she brought the shoes out. UNBELIEVEABLE. I got tired of the dirty looks the owner kept giving my toddler and decided to leave. They should not be involved in the business of babies.

First of all, this mother and daughter team (Lisa and Irene) needs some lessons in poise and grace. The first time I tried contacting this "boutique" I was rudely hung up on while asking some questions. While thinking it must have been a mistake, I visited the store. Even though they were not busy, it took forever to get some help and a thank you was never given even after spending over $50 on a baaby gift. Don't waste your time shopping here - there are too many choices in Houston to waste your time. Try the new green baby boutique - bebe verde

This store blows my mind! The staff here are so stuck up it is unbelievable. I used to go in here to buy items very often b/c they had really cute stuff, but I will go no longer. We have a Bugaboo stroller and I cannot even begin to tell you the difference in the way I am treated when I walk in this store with the Bugaboo as to without it- INSANE! They do not even talk to me when I am just carrying my daughter in, but will fall all over themselves when I am pushing her in her stroller. The last time I was in there, a pregnant woman was talking to the sales assoc. about baby bedding and asked point blank about the safety issues concerning bumpers for the crib. The sales associate told her the "only difference was the "puffier" crib bumpers would hold their shape longer." She failed to tell this poor woman anything about the risk of SIDS associated with having crib bumpers in your crib! I was completely disgusted!! Also you can find everything they have in their store online for less. I was going to purchase Caden Lane bedding from them when I was pregnant- online it is $450.00 and in their store they were going to sell it to me for $495.00. As someone else said, who do these people think they are? Seriously they work retail. I've heard horror stories about returns also.

cute things, but i refuse to spend money here, which is too bad for them b/c i spend way too much money on my children's clothes. in fact, i still have credit there, but the place makes my skin crawl. i'll spare details about my ordeal, but i was SHOCKED at how NASTY this one, brown-haired, rather unattractive sales associate was. i don't get it. she works retail, at doodles... get over yourself. i have made it my mission to tell anyone who is preggo or has children, to avoid this store. a woman's work and purple mango are within walking distance from this black hole of a place, and they carry most of the same stuff and are so much more professional and helpful.
