We love all they are doing to improve, Kid Town is very fun and they have homeschooling classes

I used to go here when there were nothing but tiny, boring exhibits for kids on the second floor. Like, "How Bubbles are Made" with a tub of dishsoap and some hoolahoops in the middle of the room. Now it is completely amazing! So much has been done and they have really cool exhibits. MAKE SURE YOU GO!

We were disappointed with the Detroit Science Center. We did let our daughter play in the kid area, my son was almost 6 at the time and a bit bored (as were hubby and I). WE were disappointed with the fact that there were only a few exhibits as well. Didn't take us but about 45 minutes to see everything. No great for the cost.

They have a area called Kids Town for ages 0-5. It is very age appropriate for Toddlers. My DS loved it. They can play dress up, work on a computer dance on a stage, etc.

This is a great place for elementary age kids. Tons of hands on activities for exploration. The older kids were bored since this is geared toward a younger age group. We didn't really use the play area since we have such a span in ages.
