A family-oriented complex in downtown Minneapolis, near the river, that consists of a great skating rink (rentals available, and they host birthday parties, but only open seasonally); a fun indoor water park; and several hotels and restaurants. We've found reasonable specials at their website offering combined passes for the rink and water park in conjunction with an overnight at one of the hotels. It's a fun mid-winter option if you're looking for a family getaway that doesn't involve a lot of drive time.
