I am an Au Pair in Washington DC...I am planning on staying for a second year, but I would love staying in the area, so I would appreciate if somebody knows about a family who is looking for Au pair...
Have a nice day

There are some baby felt shoes that I saw recently at Go Mama Go on 14th&U and I just saw them previewed today in the Express Paper! And as I'm into fair-trade eco products, it's totally great for the earth!

This is a great place to start when looking for nannies, babysitter referrals or nanny share families. There's a lot of info to wade through, but we found our nanny though this site and love her.

Great list serve whose membership includes some 5,000 DC-area parents. Discussion topics range from infertility issues to OB recommendations to breastfeeding problems to child-friendly events in the area to handyman recommendations and on and on. It really is one-stop shopping for busy DC parents. The only downside is that, from time to time, the list administrators arbitrarily reject a post for being "off-topic."
