QuoteCostco is useful if there are certain items that you want a lot of. For a family of three, there isn't too much that we buy. However, we manage to easily make up the cost of membership just by stocking up on certain items like vitamins, over the counter drugs, razor blades, and baby wipes. I also enjoy all the free samples and the pizza and frozen yogurt.

QuoteI am absolutely in love with Costco. They provide samples to promote their foods which really helps in deciding before hand if I want to buy something. You can buy things in bulk for a really good price and this helps out a lot when you have to provide for a sports team. The store can get pretty crowded but it's worth it.

But, it is the only COSTCO in VA inside the beltway (that I know of) and it is darn convenient. Tips for your trip - get there when they open. The website says they open at 10 AM on Saturdays, but really they open at 9:30 AM. We get there right at 9:30 and have no problem parking. Another tip - park back towards Fern St and away from Best Buy. There are always TONS of empty spots that no one notices! Plus, it's easy to get out of the parking lot.
