I have visited this location twice with my oldest daughter. After a fellow classmate and she decided to play beauty salon with the kids' scissors in class (where were the teachers, I still ask???), I decided that the choppy mullet was not the best look for my daughter and took her here, since they are located close to her school, and I could not bear to take her out looking like she did at pick-up. I was pleasantly surprised that they were available. I love that there is a play area, and my daughter loves to get her hair cut, thanks to the great idea pioneered by Lollilocks, etc. where there are character chairs, movies, video games, etc. there for the children. The prices are reasonable for a kids' cut, in my opinion, and I'll never be one of those brave moms to trust myself with a Wahl clipper and 20 minutes of my time. I'll gladly skip on a month's worth of lattes so that my daughters' hair looks professionally done (since I can't do it myself). Anway, I asked for a specific, simple cut for her. It was after naptime by this time, and after a long cutting session with the stylist, we ended up leaving - relieved that the mullet was gone. However, despite my best efforts to describe what I wanted, the stylist gave something quite different. I was irked by this, and ended up returning when the manager was present later that night. The manager of the store performed the simple cut in less than 10 minutes, and it looked beautiful. I was slightly nervous because there was a brand new stylist who was assigned to the "re-do", so I sucked it up and kindly requested that the newbie stylist be heavily assisted, or that the manager perform the fix-up. We left at no additional charge (except extra mileage) happy. Bottom line, like any salon I've been in (unfortunately), the consistency is not there whether you go to Cool Cuts, Lollilocks, or any of the others.
