I just love everything about this practice. The office is beautfully decorated and makes you feel comfortable and welcome. The lights are kind of dim in the waiting room and it helps me relax and take a break while I'm waiting for my appointment. The doctors, nurses and staff are all super friendly and always happy to see me. Dr. Hardwick-Smith's bedside manner is the best I've ever come across. I tell all my friends they are really missing out on a unique experience if they are going to any other practice in town. A practice run by women and for women is the only way to go.

Dr Jurney and Hardwick-Smith are awesome and I work at the hospital where they deliver so I can tell you that most of the doctors and nurses go to see them which really says something. Their office walls are covered with awards of one kind or another and Dr Jurney was voted "physician of the year" out of hundreds of doctors at Memorial Hermann hospital lat year. She is a lovely person and is well known as a great obstetrician and surgeon. The office is beautiful and the front office and nurses are helpful and friendly. They talk to you like a friend or relative and treat each person as an individual. I was shocked to read the comments below, which is so far from the doctor I know that I could not believe it! Everyone has a right to their opinion but I hope readers will notice that this person sounds a little crazy and her opinion is clearly way out in left field. I have never heard anything but great comments about Dr Jurney and her office and this comment makes no sense. It is a shame that doctors have to deal with this kind of nonsense when they have dedicated their lives to helping people. Bottom line is I love this office and so does everyone else I know, and any intelligent person should take crazy comments on an open internet forum with a grain of salt. If you need an ob/gyn you won't find anything else close to this office.

Dr. Jurney is a doctor who could care less about her patients. Everytime I went to her office I waited over 30 min, sometimes only to be told that she wasn't in the office and they had no idea when she was coming back. She messed up the first procedure with me and did the test wrong. Never offered me a refund for the two copays I had to pay for her mistakes...they actually charged me twice on my last visit! The staff is rude and never smiled at me once. After explaining that their practices were upsetting to me Dr. Jurney decided she would hurt me instead of reprimanding her staff. Dr. Jurney made me cry on the procedure table by yelling at me while I was half dresssed and about to be touched by her. I cried throughout the entire visit and Dr. Jurney didn't care one bit. She never offered a word of comfort even though I was being tested for cancer basically. She screwed up my first test and almost the second one. She told me that I could go see another doctor and she couldn't have me standing up for my needs in her office. She is by far the meanest and unethical doctor I've ever had the displeasure of seeing. Don't believe the reviews! This women is selfish, uncaring and the last place you want to go for care. I can't believe I actually went to her office 3 times! Don't even try visiting this horrible place if you have any care for yourself and your emotions. THE WORST DOCTOR IN HOUSTON BY FAR!! DON'T GO HERE! BTW - look at the good reviews and the time frame that they were posted...pretty interesting all those people felt they needed to review things in the span of 3 days.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hardwick-Smith for several years, and have nothing but superlative things to say about her and the Complete Women's Care Center. Dr. Hardwick-Smith is smart, professional, technically superb, and has an excellent bedside manner-- everything that you could hope for in an OB-GYN. I have referred numerous friends to her, all of whom have been extremely happy with the care that she and her staff have provided. If you are looking for an exceptional physician on every front(with the added perque of a lovely office environment), Dr. Hardwick-Smith is it!

I have been seeing Dr. H-S since 2001, way before I became a new mommy on Mar. 20, 2008. I have been under her care for over 7 yrs and counting. Without hesitation, I can say she consistently provides excellent care to her patients, pregnant or not. I am one of several patients who agree that she has a reputation for being the best of the best. I have high expectations and wouldn't settle for second best. She's caring, gentle, encouraging, straightforward, understanding and altruistic. There's no other doctor in town who possesses similar qualities and extends a wide array of services for women. I was scheduled to deliver on a Monday, but baby came on Thurs. Her office staff is quite efficient. If you have to wait a few minutes, it's not because of them, it's probably because of patients like me who went into labor unexpectedly and needed the doctor's attention immediately. Knowing the type of medical service she provides, I'd extend some courtesy and don't mind waiting a while, because anyone can go into labor at any time. I had an uncomplicated pregnancy/delivery, but my recovery was not so. I developed mastitis (breast infection) and was in a lot of pain. I called the office after hours. Dr. H-S called me within minutes, and right away i had a prescription to begin treatment. She even sent me a message that the pharmacy had my Rx and hoped I feel better soon. That wasn't all. It was Sunday, 7pm (dinner time), and it was her birthday. No other doctor would take time from her family to do this. I write this from experience: SHE'S THE BEST DOCTOR IN HOUSTON!
