I started the Mother's Gathering class at A Mother's Haven in Encino when my son, Christian, was only 6 weeks old. I was feeling tired, insecure, & generally clueless when I came to my first class. It was through the knowledge of our teacher, Synthia, and the support of the other women that I began to blossom as a Mom. Christian is now a year old and we just recently had a "graduation" as we all move into the toddler years. I have so much more than I did when I first started...not only more confidence and more clarity about what kind of Mother I want to be, but also a group of friends that I know will be a network of support, laughter, and shared experiences for years to come. A Mother's Haven will always have a place in my heart for offering a class like this!

This is a great park for toddlers because the play area is enclosed by a fence. They can only run so far. It's also shaded. I went here as a kid and my mom still takes my kids here. There are lots of restaurants nearby.

A great hospital that helps parents to take those first steps into parenthood.

I must say I've never been to such an unorganized store. Products being displayed so sloppily, definetly over crowded, no real "walk around" room . I also must add, over priced products,products that can be found most places. I've been, but almost ran out, staff to help only when they are willing, and then when willing not so polite. Because of this I will not buy from them, and the people that I know that have, have found long delay's in shipments, rude telephone conversations, etc. Not So Great.
