Unfortunately, you can't escape the need to go here because they are the biggest store around and have the most selection. The lighting is terrible and I can't ever find what I am looking for when it is on a registry list. They also don't keep up with what is cool and new in baby gear. They have all the same stuff that everybody else has.

Knowledgeble staffs. They will help you figure out what you need. The price is comparable to other stores in the city like The Right Start. Some Avent products are even cheaper than Safeway. The selection might be small, but they are high quality brands. Good selection of baby carriers.

A great way to meet people, lots of fun classes to suit any schedule, and the BEST teachers ever in the play classes!

Motherhood Maternity....ah the joys. NOT. Their clothing is not built to last and getting a refund is really frustrating. I had a nursing bra literally fall apart and pop an underwire after wearing it once and washing it once. Drove 30 miles to return it and the clerk would not refund my money. I had to return home and send a nasty gram email to the company so that a supervisor could call the store directly and approve my refund. Then I had to drive the 30 miles all over again to get my refund with no compensation for the gas. The supervisor would not send me a check. Also, signing a no-return policy agreement every time you want to buy their clothes makes me really annoyed. Miscarriages happen. Being able to return an item within a reasonable amount of time (10 days? heck Macy's is 60 days) is the norm with most businesses unless they're a mom & pop outfit, which Motherhood Maternity is obviously not.

This is one of my favorite toy stores. They are small, so it is not overwelming, and the quality of toys is outstanding. The carry everthing from brio trains, to Carolle dolls, to haba games, and art supplies. The owners are fantastic people -- they give great reccomendations on educational, age appropriate toys, and will special order anything for you.
