I have been here 3 times, and twice my son had a pretty good haircut. Once, it was HORRIBLE. My son ended up looking like a Roman soldier boy. His bangs were cut STRAIGHT across. I hate that I don't remember her name, but there is a young Asian girl who does a GREAT job, and if I go back I will definitely ask for her so I know my kids will get a good haircut.

This museum is great for a sunny day, as you need to walk outside between the buildings. There is a great playground/interactive area outside for kids. The main exhibit changes periodically so it is worth it to call or check the website. I found it a little shy of things to keep the kids busy for more then a couple of hours.

my toddler really liked this -lots of animals, including otters, mountain lions, racoons, eagles... -we saw baby chickens hatch! we fed goats! -airplanes headed to sfo come by regularly pretty close but not too loud -lovely picnic areas filled with native flowers -awesome playground with bay views

I've found that they have a pretty good selection of resale childrens clothes. Prices are higher than garage sale prices and sometimes you don't find good brands or things that are in good condition, but it is rare that I walk out of there without finding something. It is a great way to save money on clothes for the little ones. Usually I find that their "baby gear" is older, not in great condition, and is overpriced, however. I wouldn't buy a stroller/crib/etc from them.

A great place to find baby furniture that's unique and well-made. It can be pricey, but I shop their sales or buy the floor samples.
