Quote We took "How To Care For Your Newborn" and a birthing class called "Great Expectations". We learned quite a bit from the instructor. We had the same instructor for both classes. She was very knowledgable and used to be in charge of the birthing unit at Peninsula. I'm sure the instructor makes all the difference. If you have a bad instructor then you'll have a bad experience. She was great and answered everyones questions.

Quote Kati was a delight to work with and got some beautiful pictures of our 3 children and us. She listens to what you are hoping to achieve, but provides guidance and ideas from her own experience for what may work best. I highly recommend her if you want high quality black and white pictures of your family or children.

Quote This is a great little indoor cafe style restaurant for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. It is very casual so come as you are, however the menu is anything but. They offer a huge selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner including lots of specials. They have a large selection of healthy food options including lots of organic items. Our family has a severe food allergy and the staff was very accommodating in making sure the food was prepared in a way that kept us safe from any other food that my child is allergic to - with NO hassle. The food is really good. A great plus is they have a play area sectioned off in the corner of the restaurant with books, toys and a place the kids can move around and play while the wait for their food and after they eat, yet without wandering around bothering other diners. All the tables are within clear view of the play area and it is in the back of the dining section - no where near the front door. The only downside is the area is very tiny and the toys and books are pretty run down now. BUT the kids don't care. They have fun.

Quote This is my favorite maternity/post-maternity store. I originally visited the Walnut Creek location and immediately fell in love. The items for sale are adorable, and functional. As maternity clothes are generally not inexpensive, it was important for me to find a store that sold clothes that would grow with me and still be useful post-pregnancy (and not look like they were still my pregnancy clothes). I found quite a few outfits that work perfectly, are trendy, and I'm still using as I nurse. They have quite a nice nursing section as well, and with consultation from the staff, I found the most comfortable nursing bra I have ever worn (frankly, it's the most comfortable bra, period, that I've ever worn). I love it here... it really made me feel glamorous and trendy throughout my entire pregnancy and the staff is not pushy about purchasing, just helpful.
